Design floors in the bathroom

The beautiful atmosphere created by JOKA design floors is already well known, but now the modern vinyl floors can also be used on walls and floors in the bathroom. Now you too can create a cosy atmosphere in damp rooms.
The new JOKA LVT system leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to design flooring in the bathroom on the wall and on the floor. MAPEI offers the right accessories for customised wet room design. With the combination of comfort, well-being, functionality and design, wellness areas, relaxation areas in saunas, private bathrooms or similar rooms fulfil the high demands of modern wet rooms. The tiles are waterproof, water-repellent and scratch-resistant. The vinyl floors are also easy to clean and therefore offer a high level of hygiene. Careful planning is very important in order to maintain the visual appearance for a long time and prevent damage caused by the high water load on the surface. However, with the right accessories for installation, you are on the safe side.

Waterproofing / installation

The system offers simple, quick and easy sealing and installation of JOKA design floors. After applying sealing tape, moulded parts and accessories with the MAPEGUARD WP SYSTEM, JOKA vinyl floors are bonded with ULTRABOND ECO MS 4 LVT WALL. The liquid accent strip FLEXCOLOR 4 LVT / KERAPOXY 4 LVT allows for customised design before the system is rounded off with MAPECOAT 4 LVT, a slip-resistant sealant.
