purenit is a high-density functional material that combines an incredible wealth of outstanding properties. The performance data of purenit can be described as brilliant without any ifs or buts. purenit is a polyurethane product based on (PUR/PIR) rigid foam with a high thermal insulation value. The bulk density is approx. 550 kg/m3 - making purenit a real lightweight despite its strength, stability and high thermal insulation value.

Thanks to its moisture resistance, purenit is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, washrooms and shipbuilding. It is the ideal core material for windows, doors and façades and all other building elements that have to withstand moisture, heat and mechanical stress. At the same time, purenit is lightweight - an enormous advantage in vehicle construction, e.g. for commercial vehicles and camper vans.

Processing made easy: sawing, milling, drilling, gluing and much more

purenit can be easily processed using standard woodworking tools and machines. Carbide tools will help you with this. For screw connections, it is advisable to pre-drill and keep sufficient edge clearance. purenit harmonises perfectly with 1C or 2C PU adhesives, hotmelt or water-based adhesive systems. Colour coatings or paints with conventional products or systems - even solvent-based - are possible without any problems.

As a functional material that is open to diffusion, purenit impresses with its excellent climatic properties. When exposed to moisture, purenit performs exceptionally well and clearly distinguishes itself from wood-based materials. purenit is rot-resistant, does not mould and is even termite-resistant - making it ideal for construction element production and assembly work. Also available as a flame-retardant version: purenit C.
