With Kjare (Norwegian for ‘darling’), W. & L. Jordan presents an innovative natural wood floor that combines the natural charm of real oak with a clever floor construction: a resource-efficient floor that is highly suitable for everyday use and easy to install.

A natural look and high stability

Unlike traditional parquet, Kjare uses a layer of precious wood that is only around 1.2 mm thick. This allows for the particularly efficient use of high-quality oak, without compromising on the character of a genuine wooden floor.

Combined with the high-density ORC core board, the result is a natural wood floor that combines a natural look, high stability and ease of installation.

Two sorting characters. One favourite floor.

NATURE represents an elegant, understated grade with subtle knots and eight variants: four with a matt lacquer finish and four with a natural oil finish.

VILLA has a livelier and more distinctive appearance. This more expressive grade, with a higher proportion of knots, is available in four variants and is the more economical alternative. Three finishes are available in a natural oiled finish and one in a matt lacquered finish.

  • Surface made from genuine oak (approx. 1.2 mm)
  • ORC core board made from extremely densified wood fibre (6.8 mm)
  • Aqua-Protection 24 h (swelling value < 10 per cent)
  • Backing layer of Nordic spruce (1.8 mm) for high dimensional stability
  • Use class CFL-s1
  • Brushed finish
  • Quick to install thanks to the D5-Dry system
  • Can be laid as a floating floor or fully bonded
